Hello! 👋

I’m Melanie Williamson, a UK-based award-winning children’s book illustrator, character designer and mural artist.

I also deliver school drawing workshops for World Book Day, where I read from books I’ve illustrated and guide children to create their own wonderful characters.

With over 25-years’ experience I have over 50 published books in several languages to my name, including the Pirate Pete’s Potty and Billy and the Mini Monsters, which for two years running was selected for the Reading Agency’s Summer Reading Challenge, and nominated for the 2019 Sheffield Children’s Book Award.

Publishing clients include: Barefoot Books, Cambridge University Press, Harper Collins, Hodder Children's, Egmont, Ladybird Books, Oxford University Press, Pearson Education and Usborne Publishing.

For Books, I’m represented by the lovely Heather Richards at Tall Bean.
