How much does a children’s bedroom mural cost?
I’m a specialist mural artist and children’s book illustrator to create hand-painted murals that transform the walls of a bedroom, nursery or outdoor space.
But how much does bedroom mural normally cost?

In my case, each mural is completely unique, custom-designed for the client and space, and created in my distinctive style, like this fun dinosaur mural with a skateboarding Stegosaurus.

Murals for younger children tend to be based on themes such as: jungles, safari, forests, mountains, fairy tales and nursery rhymes, robots and space, dinosaurs, or pirates and sea creatures…but I can create bespoke designs for any age, like this llama and mountain mural for Esthela, a client originally from Bolivia.

The process starts with a Pinterest ‘mood’ board and digital sketches, which I use to agree the design and colours, and to confirm the final cost.

Once the design is agreed, a mural typically takes between 3 and 5 days, depending on: the size and complexity of the scene or design, number of characters, number and size of walls, how much paint is needed, or if any surface prep is required.

The finish is extremely high-quality, with at least two coats of paint and very clean, precise lines.
Unlike a sticker, it won’t peel off!

As you can see, there are many factors influencing the cost, but I can provide a free estimate to get things moving, and once the design is agreed I’ll provide a fixed quote before starting.
I’m also happy to work to a budget.
