Nursery mural featuring whales, fish, mountains and hot-air balloons

I was asked to create a nursery mural in Chorlton, Manchester, for a couple expecting their first child….affectionately named ‘Whale’ ❤️🐳

Steph and Hayley had a clear vision of what they wanted - full of details that are 100% personal to them.

The whales and sea theme, of course, but also the pastel-coloured mountains that match existing furnishings.

Final sketches and colour scheme

Using a balloon ladder as a height chart was also a great idea, and the final request was to feature their beloved pooch Eva in one of the balloons ❤️💙
