Ahoy me beauty! Time-lapse of my outdoor pirate mural in Manchester

Pirate mural created in Manchester by artist Melanie Williamson

I loved doing this pirate-themed outdoor mural for toddler Jack’s play area in Chorlton, Manchester.

Painted over 5 days on the gable end of a garden garage, it features a pirate, ship, ship’s cat, crab and fishes.

To protect it from the elements I used long-lasting acrylic and finished with a protective coat of varnish.

Check out this awesome time-lapse, created by Neal Andrews.

Joke: Why are pirates good singers? Because they can hit the high Cs!
